Dr. Averi Van Dam ​graduated from the University of Waterloo with her Doctor of Optometry in 2011 and has been working at 300 Henderson Hwy since 2013.  Since graduation, she has worked across the country from Halifax to British Columbia and even in Australia and the United States.  Dr. Van Dam has a passion for learning and prides herself in staying up-to date with the latest advancements in optometry.  In 2014, she achieved her Fellowship in the American Association of Optometrists.  She also holds a Manitoba Therapeutic Drug License that allows her to prescribe medications.  Dr. Van Dam was born and raised in Winnipeg and was excited for an opportunity to return to work in her home province.  She enjoys traveling, running, cycling and reading lots of books!  She also enjoys spending her free time with her husband and kids.  She would love to welcome you to ElmView EyeCare.
